CONVIVIO, a hand-forged iron and travertine low table
A low table made to sit at the heart of the conversation. The base is two crossed arches in hand-forged iron, joined by a forged rosette and a stretcher with a central knot; a wavy iron band holds the travertine slab, protected by tempered glass. Every slab of natural stone has its own veining: no two CONVIVIO tables are alike.

Chiampo travertine
The top is a slab of travertine worked by Industria Marmi Ferrari in Chiampo, at the heart of the Veneto stone district. Travertine is a warm, luminous stone, with small pores and veining that make every top different.
The hand-forged iron base
The base is a blacksmith’s work: two crossed arches, a forged rosette, a stretcher with a central knot and a wavy band that holds the stone. Hand-forged iron keeps the marks of its making, which set it apart from industrial metalwork.

Can CONVIVIO be made to measure?
The standard size is 100 × 50 × h 45 cm. Other sizes can be requested: Brenda checks them with the craftsmen and replies with a quote.
Why is there glass over the travertine?
Travertine is a porous stone: the tempered glass protects it from stains and spills and makes the top smooth and easy to clean, while the stone stays visible.
How do I clean it?
Clean the glass like any household glass. For the stone edges a soft, slightly damp cloth is enough; avoid acidic or harsh products, which damage travertine.
Can it be used outdoors?
It is designed for interiors and covered spaces such as loggias and porticoes. For open-air use, the iron finish must be discussed with the craftsmen before ordering.
